Weather Net Internship

Each semester several students may earn 1-3 credits in EES 93 (for freshmen) or EES 293 (sophomore level and above) to manage LEO WeatherNet instruments, data, and Web pages. Interpretation of data is encouraged, including combining separate datasets (e.g. rainfall and stream flow) and creating monthly and yearly graphical summaries (e.g. precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature). Students are encouraged to continue this internship at 1 credit for two semesters, and to take EES 183 (Fall Semester) either before, during, or after a WeatherNet Internship for in-depth coverage.

No experience required (training provided). For more information, contact Dr. Hargreaves (brh0@lehigh.edu; 758-3683, or see WeatherNet link at http://www.leo.lehigh.edu/LEO_weather_stations/). This internship can be used towards Natural Science Credit.
