LEO Seismic Station - Operation and Maintenance

As part of the Lehigh Earth Observatory we maintain and operate a seismic station to record local, regional, and global earthquakes. Our station is part of the Northeast Regional Seismic Network, and we contribute data to the US national archive (US National Seismic Network) for monitoring earthquake activity and hazards in the US.

Primary responsibilities for the internship include:

• Station Operation
• Development of Database/Data Archive
• Catalog Preparation
• Web Page Development
• Laboratory Preparation

This can be used towards Natural Science Credit
