Welcome to the FEN Conservation Network

This site provides a forum where issues specific to the preservation of fen communities can be researched and discussed.  This forum facilitates the sharing of information across state lines, agency boundaries, between academics, land stewards and volunteers.

Initially limited to only Nature Conservancy employees, the site is now open to all fen stewards and researchers. This decision was based upon numerous responses received from governmental organizations as well as volunteers currently acting as stewards on a number of preserves.

Specific thanks goes to the Fen Panel, the students at Lehigh University, and the individual users who have gone beyond to submit preserve profiles and postings for the Conservation Science and Stewardship page.  Without their help and support, the site would still be just a dream.
